Espresso set with 100% of the best Arabica beans

With this special tasting set you will receive 4 espressos from 4 very different roasters. But they all have one thing in common: they all contain only 100% of the finest Arabica beans. Two German and two Italian roasters are represented. For everyone who loves to enjoy a high-quality espresso with perfectly nuanced and complex flavours, this coffee sampler set is the perfect choice.

3 x 250 g each and 1 x 340g whole beans

Andraschko Buena Vista Primero

The beans for this masterpiece come from the best growing areas. Semi washed from Brazil, a Panama Boquete with an addition of the (probably the best and most expensive coffee bean) Jamaica Blue Mountain. The rest remains a secret of Andraschko.
For the Buena Vista, each variety is roasted separately and gently at temperatures between 200 and 220 degrees Celsius. The whole thing happens traditionally in a drum roaster. They are then combined to form a balanced mixture.

The Andraschko Buena Vista Primero has a medium to dark roasting profile and is characterised by a deep, relaxing and aromatic taste.

Nurri Caffè Crema d' Arabia

The founder, Antonio Nurri, brings all his know-how to the Crema d'Arabia espresso. He wants to show how versatile a 100% Arabica blend can be. The skillful pairing of different Arabica varieties, separate storage and gentle, individual roasting time of each individual raw bean variety produces a perfect espresso coffee.

The beans are roasted to medium strength and are therefore also ideally suited for use in fully automatic coffee machines. Full-bodied on the palate with an ingenious balance of fine fruity notes, pleasant dark chocolate nuances and baked bread. In addition, the very rich cream formation is completely convincing.

A special feature of Nurri coffees are the resealable zip-bags, which keep the beans fresh for even longer.

Dinzler il Gustoso Espresso

With this unique espresso you get the classic from Dinzler. The beans for this blend come from Central, South America & India. The carefully selected blend gives this espresso the best characteristics of each variety. Incredibly aromatic aroma, strong flavour and an incomparably creamy consistency. The beans of il Gustoso are gently roasted and refined in a long-term drum roasting process. The result is a medium-strong roast with clear tasting notes of chocolate and nuts in the cup. What distinguishes this, as well as all other coffees from the Dinzler coffee roasting plant, is the aluminium-free packaging. Due to the absence of multiple coatings, the bags can be 100% recycled.

Processed in a sieve carrier machine or fully automatic coffee machine, the il Gustoso is perfect as the basis for a cappuccino.

Filicori Zecchini Espresso Arabica - Espresso Italiano

340g whole beans

To celebrate over 100 years of roasting, Filicori Zecchini has outdone itself with this anniversary blend. Filicori Zecchini's 100% Arabica is the roastery's first pure Arabica blend. The 100 not only stands for the blend ratio of 100% Arabica, but also for the 100-year anniversary.

The coffee roasting company was founded in 1919 in Bologna by two friends, Aldo Filicori and Luigi Zecchini. Today, the company is still owned by the families and is already being run by the third generation. And to this day, Filicori has remained true to its long tradition. Only first-class beans are refined according to the traditional, typically Italian roasting method. This means that the beans are roasted separately, gently and slowly in the rotary drum and then left to cool in the air. It simply doesn't get any better than this.

What makes the 100% Arabica so special?

The Signature Blend embodies the art of creating a refined blend that perfectly combines the best characteristics of 3 Single Origins (Brazil, Guatemala and Mexico)

What is a Single Origin coffee?

A Single Origin is a coffee variety that comes from a specific geographical location, from which it usually takes its name. Each Single Origin has unique organoleptic characteristics related to the particular characteristics of the soil and climate. These different characteristics are combined in a sophisticated blending process. This is the art that makes a blend so incredibly complex and balanced. The flavours and nuances complement each other, bringing out the best notes and engaging all the palate's taste buds in harmony. For a coffee connoisseur, single origin is the equivalent of the terroir of a grape that a wine connoisseur appreciates.

Guatemala is a Single Origin of the Bourbon variety, grown in the Fraijanes - Santa Rosa region at an altitude of 1200-1600m. It is a washed and sun-dried coffee with a light fruity note, strong flavour and good body. An aftertaste of cocoa and tobacco makes it very pleasant on the palate.

Brazil is known around the world as one of the most distinguished and committed coffee-growing countries. This Arabica coffee comes from one of the world's most famous Arabica bean growing regions - Santos, Brazil. The natural, sun-dried production process makes it extremely round and balanced. The taste is long-lasting and delicate with a strong note of bitter almonds.

Chiapas Single Origin beans come from the state of Chiapas in southeastern Mexico - one of the most biodiverse regions in the world. High mountains offer the best growing conditions for first-class green coffee. Light notes of cocoa and a subtle aroma of fresh tobacco make this bean so distinctive. Notes of cane sugar and cinnamon are on the palate in the finish.

Filicori Zecchini has changed the packaging to aluminium-free. Due to the non-existent multiple coating or composite material, the bags can be 100% recycled.

Thanks to its outstanding quality, Filicori Zecchini 100% Arabica has been certified as Espresso Italiano by the INEI (Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano).

In exceptional cases we reserve the right to replace a variety with an equivalent espresso in a coffee sampler set.
