In 1979, the Segafredo family, known for their long tradition of coffee roasting, founded the Essse Caffè brand in Bologna. The three "S" in Essse stand for Scienza (science), Sapienza (knowledge), and Specializzazione (specialization): three values that encapsulate the company's philosophy. Today, Essse Caffè is a successful brand, recognized both in Italy and internationally. Since 1998, the brand has been certified "Espresso Italiano," guaranteeing the superior quality of its coffee.
