ESE pods for a large cup of coffee

These LUNGO ESE pods are designed for those who enjoy a larger cup of coffee, the way it is still widely appreciated here. Some roasters have taken this preference into account and adjusted the blend, roast level, and filling density of the pods specifically for a Caffè Lungo.

Because the coffee in the pod is not pressed quite as firmly, more water flows through it, giving you an aromatic filter coffee. Italian filter-style ESE pods are also particularly good because the coffee beans are gently and slowly drum-roasted at low temperatures, resulting in very low levels of bitterness and acidity.

This is a process that clearly differs from the fast hot-air roasting method used by many large German roasters.
