Tumminello's Cosi Chini, filled with dried figs and Sicilian almonds, offer an incomparable symphony of flavours. A crispy shortcrust pastry generously filled with dried figs, chopped roasted Sicilian almonds, apricot jam, sultanas, chocolate chips, honey and coffee. The word 'Cosi Chini' means 'full things' in Sicilian dialect, in this case full of flavour and authenticity, thanks to the use of high-quality Sicilian ingredients.

Ingredients

DOUGH INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour, butter, sugar, fresh eggs, raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate; salt, natural flavourings.

FILLING INGREDIENTS (36% of total quantity): Dried figs (equivalent to 10% of total quantity), apricot purée (glucose-fructose syrup, apricot purée, sugar; thickening agents: pectin with sodium pyrophosphate and sodium alginate; acidity regulators: citric acid and calcium citrate; preservative: potassium sorbate; colouring: paprika extract; flavourings), chopped Sicilian almonds (equivalent to 6% of total quantity), sultanas (equivalent to 6% of total quantity), chocolate drops (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin), Marsala liqueur, wildflower honey, coffee, alcohol, cinnamon, sweetener: sorbitol.

DECORATION: Candied orange slices (orange peel slices, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, natural flavouring, ascorbic acid). Granulated sugar. Royal icing (egg white, sugar).
