In 1979, the Segafredo family, known for its long tradition of coffee roasting, founded the Essse Caffè brand in Bologna. The three "S"s of Essse stand for Scienza (science), Sapienza (knowledge), and Specializzazione (specialization): three values that summarize the company's philosophy. Today, Essse Caffè is a successful brand, well-known both in Italy and abroad. Since 1998, the brand has been certified "Espresso Italiano," ensuring the superior quality of its coffee.
